Dear SDCians,
It will be less than 12 hours for the end of 2009 and the beginning 2010. Another year has past us so fast; we didn’t even realize time has passes by. Some of us has move on with their own life, starting family, having kids, new career, even different path of life altogether, many has change for the past 1 year. The number of people in our life is also increased as we move on with our life….
What I’m trying to say is that, fully utilized the time that has been given, gain as much, explore, experience, learn, trial and error anything everything that you want to do……..and be happy with your decision...

Recently we had a gathering at Mines where we were reunited with one of our old fren, Cha Li. She was Cecilia's roomate during uni time and been one of the helpers in the famous Scrunchy Shop during College Festival 2006. As soon as she completed her studies, she left to UK for work with the intention to ease her family's financial burden plus repaying her PTPTN loan. In an uncertain and stressful working condition, she had found her other-half and she has been traveling with him to France to set up a family-business restaurant since her bf has been working as a Chef. Currently, she's back here in Malaysia for few months to settle her application for a long-time visa to France.

Volvo Owners Club of Malaysia

Last weekend was a blast for me as I joined a convoy for one of the most prestige motor club in malaysia... VOCM (Volvo Owners Club of Malaysia). This convoy took place on the 19th December 2009 and it was held in conjunction for the rolled back of the government issues for each car that is over 15 years have to check their car in PUSPAKOM yearly to continue renew their road tax. This trip objective is to show that even cars that is more than 20 years still can maintain well in the road and together stand as 1 Malaysia. So as the main organizer, the 2xx series of volvo they gather up for a trip to Melaka. I was so glad to join this convoy as most of the cars here is well maintained and in good condition, so as for my 'Big Daddy' I guess it has been recognised as well for its well maintained condition.

The convoy first gather with the central region members in Sg Besi toll at 7:00 am on the saturday and a total of 20 cars manage to gather there for a short breifing for the rules and regulation of convoy. After the short breifing we move out to PD to meet up with some of our southern region members. Once reach PD and our southern regiion members joined, total of 35 cars and we move out for our first stop that is breakfast at Seremban. With a total of 35 cars the traffic is very packed and it was very tiring to follow all in one lane. After finish breakfast all of us gather around for the main breifing to start the convoy move to Melaka (Tanjung Kling).

The journey to tg. Kling went well as the participant really obey the convoy regulation and the drive was really enjoyable. Sadly as we arrive in Melaka it was raining heavily and without any back up plans we just lepak2 at the Medan Selera Tg. Kling.

After finish drinking all of us went back but some stay and make other arrangements since we all already gather so one of the member suggest to go back to his place in muar......and for me since I do not have any other plans just went with them.....journey to muar took us another 1 1/2 hour drive from melaka....reach muar we hang around the house and have some drink while waiting till the night.......at night we decided to went for ikan bakar at Serkam. One of our member have a Kedai Ikan Bakar at Serkam so we hang around his shop while having our late dinner. We ate from 10 till midnight and we enjoyed the food as for quite a long time havent eat ikan bakar.... Once finish eating we drove back to KL....so 5 cars drove back in the middle of the night and enjoy the night drive back to KL....

I arrive at my house by 3 am and was really exausted.....nearly 24 hours went out and what a really enjoy moment for me...

So guys thats just the update for me during my weekends, I enjoy meeting up with new people and knowing them really improve me on my motoring knowledge and they also really friendly and without a doubt will help you when you need them...this is friendship is all about and I'll treasure it forever........
