Awards Nite 2007

Dear SDCians..

On 27/04/07, SDC has attended MMU Awards Nite 2007, which was held at MMU Grand Hall. The 10 people who represented SDC were Shuk, Cecilia, Cha Li, Syaza, Xiang, Din, Rajah, Ratnam, Elyn and Me.

Our table was No.16, which located quite near to the stage, was an honour given to us although we are neither a club, nor a society. Well, there were a lot of people drop by at our table from time to time, which resulted not enough seats and have to curi other table's chairs at times. Zeek was like having his own wedding nite as he was visiting table by table. My fren, Abg Din was controlling his machoness whole nite because he was sitting beside SDC's secretary, Syaza. Shuk was wearing UPG 's F1 shirt, but the great thing was that he was wearing SDC's shirt inside as well. Haha..that's the passion, my fren.

Although SDC was not nominated for any awards which we doesn't need it, Syaza was aiming on certain awards to be win in next year awards nite. Haha..Well, maybe we could win the Lifetime Secretary Award (Syaza) or Lifetime Security Award (Din) next year. Anyway, congrats to CCIP for winning The Integration Award. I guess those tandu carriers in Chinese Mock Wedding were one of the main factors. Haha..

The interesting moment only began at the end of the nite where we had our photo session. We were shouting "Who Cares" before being snapped. There was a moment when Shuk trying to propose to Syaza in a video recording by Rajah. While Din was looking anxiously with his heart-beat almost stopped, suddenly....Shuk shouted "Din, You Got Punked". Haha..

After that, we went to McD to have our Supper. Indeedly, it was a memorable nite. Everyone is already an Award winner as You have been the influence figure to the younger generations. Your contribution to the university are too valuable to be represented by an award.
