Dear SDCians,
Here are th

e reports which most of us have been awaiting, so Ladies and Gentlemen, presenting to You, Langkawi 2007....
Back to 27/05/07 at 11 pm, Shuk, Rajah, Zeek, Prasaanth and Din were gathered at my apartment. Once everyone got ready, we began our journey and left from Cyberjaya at 12 am by sitting in 2 new autobots which are Rajah's Red Saga and SDC's Black MyVii. This was the furthest journey i even been driving and it tooks us 8 hours to reach our destination as we reached at Kuala Perlis and parked our cars at Masjid India around 8 am on 28/05/07. Along the way, we make at few pit stops as we did stopped at Hentian Tapah and Nasi Kandar Pelita, Autocity for our breakfast. The journey along the highway was a tiring but yet, e

njoying one as we share stories and sang in order to keep each other awake. In addition, seeing sun rise along the padi field signifies a true wonderful beginning of life with the ending of the unpleasant past. What an amazing journey it was !!!!
While some of us queing to get the ferry tickets, we also settled the car rental and island hopping fees from ferry station itself. The journey from the Kuala Kedah to Langkawi seems to be very fast as we were sleeping throughout the journey. Once we step into the island, we quic

kly went to get our rental car, which was a Proton Wira and 6 of us have to squeez into this car for next 3 days. After had our first lunch in Langkawi, we checked-in into our lovely apartment at TM Resort, which quite worth for its price for 2 bedrooms and toilets and a single living room as well as a kitchen. While some of us took our nap while waiting for the dinner time, some of us went for swimming at the lonely exotic pool, which located beside our apartment.
We took our dinner at one of the seafood restaura

nt at Pantai Chenang and the food was delicious as well as cheap, considering the amount of food that we have ordered...Before we back to our apartment, we stopped at the grocery shops to get some foods and drinks "warm-up" session. Upon reaching our apartment, We played Jenga while watching National Geographic to test our mental concentration as the losers will have to prepare breakfast for everyone in the next morning. As soon as Shuk and Prasaanthn had their Spa session and the rest were having their

wresting session on the bed, the light were off since we need to wake up early for our outing on the next day.
We began our 2nd day in Langkawi with island hopping trip in the morning. Without much hassle, we just need to walk across our backyard to get into our boat and we shared the boat with a family from Klang, where its member ranged from 5 to 50-year-old lady. The first place we stopped was an island called smtg Basah Island, where i believe Monkey is the largest population at there. After getting ourself wet from sea bathing and some 'cuci

mata' moments, we went back to the jetty, and this is where we first played "Frog Game" while waiting for the boat to arrive. Next, we were brought to "Eagle Nest" and Shuk tried to offered his leg as baits but i guess those eagles have a better taste. After getting the real-eye of those eagles, we were brought to Tasik Dayang Bunting, which is the last stop. During our 45 mins time there, we met some MMU students and went for snorkeling. We believe this was the best stop as the place was non-stop influx with beautiful ladies especially

Hindustani girls, who make Rajah and Prasaanthn willing to stay floating there forever.
As soon as we got back to the shores, everyone quickly took their bath and we proceed to the city for lunch. Here we began our shopping spree after filling our stomach, and this time we really shop till broke. How come? Some of us really can't resist in buying chocolate and drinks, which are so cheap and One of us has to fulfill the SMS demand list from Our beloved Secretary. Finished emptying our wallets, we went to the Eagle's Statue f

or photo snapping and proceed to Jetty for Karaoke after that. Paying RM 12 for 1 hour session, we really had a great time there as we hit notable singles such as Livin' La Vi Da Loca, Candle in the Wind, California Dreamin and Shuk's All-time Favourite's Love Hurts. Time for dinner, and we proceed to a recommended restaurant for Seafood and the prices weren't expensive though.
Dinner was over

the plate and it was time for us to prepare for the "Unforgetable Nite". We searched around few shops for fruits and finally we found one and bought some lemons and rambutans for our drinks. Haha..since we did not have any knife with us, we even asked the fruit vendors to lend us her knife to slice those lemons in advance. Once we reached home, evryone shared their drinks and chocolates for the party time. Rajah became our self-initiate "Barrista" as he mixed those 7-up and Coke with

the fruits that we bought and the effect of the mixture really got us high. Here, i could not elaborate much on the details of the "Unforgetable Nite" as we came with an agreement that what ever happen in Langkawi, lies in Langkawi. One thing for sure is that everyone of us really had great final nite where we laughed, cheers and shared the happy memories and throw the sorrow past away.
Final Day in Langkawi, some of us woke up with a big headache. After packing and waving goodbye to our wonderful apartment, suddenly, one of us asked Shuk to stop at the Cigar shop. All of us got shocked when he said he wanna buy a pack of cigar for someone, which h

e insisted he is not goin to buy due to his own stands. This is what i called power of love. Haha...Here come the interesting part, when he entered the shop, he went to look for cigarrette, which i guess he doesn't know the difference between cigar and cigarrette. This is where the name of "Cigar Rookie" came from and given to our friend here. Once we reached the jetty, we met Rajah's Uncle, who work as a custom officer there. This is the reason of why we were able to pass the counter checking without any hassle.
Although it was just a 3 days 2 nites outing, it was long enough to last in our memory forever. Another memorable chapter written in my life....Gin Sapphire, Barrista, Sau Feng, There is a Frog, Cigar Rookie, and Drunkcart.....
