OC PD Trip 2007

Dear SDCianss.....

Happy New Year.....2007 has just ended with a bang... What a Great year it was... From Orientation to the OC PD Trip, those were the memorable time we shall cherish for years to come..

On 7/12/07, 14 of us put away our daily stress and make effort to attend this trip in the midst of midterm examinations and assignment submissions. Those crazy ppl are Ken, Tharan, Chee Wei, Ping Ting, Steve, Keat Yee, Ging2, GTF, Shuk, Din, Thulasi, Alvin, Zeek and me. What so special about this trip was everyone did put efforts in organizing this trip rather than depending solely on few persons. Ken, Keat Yee and Alvin planned the program for the trip. Ping Ting was the lovely secretary as well as gangster treasurer. Tharan incharged of booking the venue, Thulasi was incharged getting his ship (MMU Bus), Chee Wei managed the CITS equipments, Ging2 and GTF prepared the breakfast, tea-break and supper for 3 days.

We left MMU at 3.30 pm and reach our destination, Zosen Villa at 5.30pm. It was a double-storey wooden villa with ample backyard space as well as 10 mins walking distance from the beach. Upon reaching, we straight away proceed to the beach with some of us getting their sexy, tight and some hairy swimsuits on. Besides swimming and playing volleyball, it was the perfect time to snap pictures as the matahari was about to set. There was one particular picture suits for calendar cover or "Naked Weapon 2" poster. If you are interested to have one, you may ask Ping Ting for it. After finished cleaning up, we walked to a chinese restaurant, situated nearby our villa with big signboard stated "halal chinese seafood". While waiting for our food, Steve came out with stupiak funny jokes about animals in the Zoo especially the one called Geelilindo. You may ask Steve to know what is that.

Next, we watched a movie titled "The Freedom Writer". It is a meaningful movie based on a true story of a high school teacher that touched the issue of racism and love. Initially, everyone should be laying tears while watching the movie, but our tears were put on hold as there were a sudden unwanted resonance (wave) interfering us. In order to rectify, we managed to capture the resonance and make a rap song out of it. If you wanna hear the song, you may get it from Zeek. Throughout the nite till morning, we play mahjong (Thulasi even learn to play), chess, cards game, karaoke and chat till sleep.

As soon as we woke up on the next day, we were treated with delicious Wantan Mee with Fishball soup made by G's Sisters for our lunch. Then, we had a discussion on the preparation for BBQ for dinner. In the whole afternoon, we were occupied with cutting and cleaning the 4 whole chicken that we bought. Among Tharan, Chee Wei and Shuk, Tharan proved to be the best chicken "cutter" as Shuk was tearing the chicken most of time instead. During the tea-break, we were served with steam bread and tea. Everyone agreed that it was better than bread in Oldtown and no doubt, the G's Sisters really good in their job. In order to get ppl to wash dishes, we played Jenga and Numbers and these was played evrytime we need to ppl for dish-washing. Next we proceed to Bayu Beach and thanks Alvin who had to drive few rounds to get all of us there. While we were waiting at the bus-stop, a new innovation about hair was produced and tested. You may refer to Chee Wei and Zeek for details. Once everyone were gathered in the beach, we were divided into 2 teams, named Beeecchh and Ceee Byeee for volleyball games. Although Beecchh won the game, Shuk from the Ceee Byeee won the "Most Hardworking" player as he was covered with sands throughout the match. Before we left the beach, we created a documentary about co-joint whales played by Nicky and Shuk, which also starring Ping Ting as UPM marine biologist and hosted by Zeek.
As soon as everyone got back to the villa, the BBQ sessions started and we were lucky to have the priviledge to enjoy the so-called "Seremban Best BBQ Chicken" which was marinated by Alvin. In addition, Steve, Ping Ting and Chee Wei cooked the fried rice, veges and chicken soups. Thulasi also didn't miss the limelight as he shocked everyone with "black pepper fishball" which proved to be delicious as well. In order to enlighten the environment, Din and Zeek created the "Red Indian" campfire. What a meaningful nite it was to see everyone working on our self-made dinner and I personally do really enjoy the moment and food very much. OC Trip would not be complete without playing OC games. Thus, we had a series of Mafia and Thulasi "~think~" he got the right Mafia but unfortunately, he shot the wrong person most of the time. Towards the end of the nite, we had a sharing sessions after consuming some "booster" drinks and we hope everything turns to be better after this. By the way, whatever happen in PD shall stay in PD (sound similiar).

Once again, we were treated with wonderful combo meal which consisted of Spaggetti, Banana Cake and Red Bean. We shall miss the G's Sister's cook till the next time we have them again. Yes, the OC 07/08 circle shall come to the end soon, but a greater friendship was formed after this. This is where SDC come in and serve as a platform. SDC is a place for people who dare and want to make a difference for the betterment of society and forge friendship without looking into race or any traits. As long as you have this intention, you are already part of the SDC family.
Hereby i shall announce newly qualified SDC's members for the year 2008, who are: Ging2, GTF, Ping Ting, Tharan, Chee Wei, Ken, Keat Yee and Steve.

Congratulations and May the Force be with You !!!
