Fun, tiring, challenging, teamwork, groin pain, flying, stuck, determination, laughter- this is what we can describe bout the outing we had last Saturday. On 20/08, 20 of us , 5 groups of us leaving from respective places, were heading to Bukit Cahaya, Shah Alam with our mind wondering what would be the challenges we were goin to face. No matter how tough it would be, one thing great for sure is that we were looking forward to meet each other since the last battlefield at Subang. Those who attended were:
At 11.00 am, we finally got ready and left to the SkyTrek platform by a train which remind me the rides that I had at Night Safari in Singapore. Upon reaching the briefing counter, we were brief by a French-instructor called Laurent Blanc, and he helped us to put on a groin-tight safety harness. It was so tight till there were thought that the guys could have taken "Ali's Stick" for breakfast. Due to the spirit of the rising sun , Shuk had to leave us to answer the call from his samurai, who summoned him back to Fujitsu to protect the intelligent city.
Next, we were brought to the platform to test the harness's support and instructions were given to us on how to apply our harness along the voyage. Every single words mentioned were important. Failing to adhere shall lead us to a special group of citizen in Malaysia, known as OKU.

Abdul Will Smith volunteer himself as the first person to try the course. Well, in a way is good as if there is anything happen, then we know what to do to rectify or go back home straight away instead. For the first stage, it was just basic course as we need to climb, walk across plank bridge, and ended with flying fox. The main purpose was getting us used to locked and unlocked the harness. Here is the one million question: Who do u think went after Syaza's turn? Yes, You are right!! It was none other than the King of Fruit, Din the Hafiz. Tak sabar-sabar, my fren.
("Syaza, I'm coming!! Wait for me ya!!!)
One of the rules is only max 3 persons allowed for each platform. The 2nd stage begins with a ladder climb of 16-storey high. Then u need to move across a hanging bridge to the next platform. Here was where the real adventure begins. Since Zeek and Din were leading the front pack, the rest was buffering all the way while waiting for turns as both of them were struggling and take time to overcome the challenge :p. Anyway, no rush yo as we were have our sweet time enjoying the nature as well.

After about 4 hours, all of us finally completed the course. Tired but fun was all we could feel at that time. Din and some of the guys left earlier once they completed the journey as Din need to rush back to his mum, whom worried about the safety of her "daughter" :p. Anyway, I would like to applauds and congrats Din, who struggled but yet determine to complete the course, even he had injured his palm. I believe all of us were struggling along the way too, but SDC spirit carried us along the way without need to use the 'chicken exit'.

From Shah Alam, we drove to Asia Cafe, Subang for much anticipating lunch. To everyone's surprise, Josephine came and joined us even though she couldn't joined us for trip. Glad to see you, Jojo. After everyone fill in their stomach, here came the Nites' Moment as we celebrated Prasanth B'day. Happy Belated Birthday, Robin! You have grown up :p.
There will be a new track built at Bukit Cahaya sometime in the end of November and it is called The Extreme Trek. Perhaps we shall come back again by then. Lastly, thankx Gan for organizing and thankx Each of You who attended and making it so memorable.
